1, 09/15/98 COMMUNICATE / EVACUATE / EVALUATE DIRECTOR

_1.

DO NOT USE11 I two-way radio communications, cellular telephones or pagers during a bomb threat emergency.

Communicate via the regular telephone system, the Voice Communications System (VCS) or messengers.

_ 2. Assume overall responsibility as lead responder for resolution of a bomb threat.

3.' Analyze bomb threat information and make an immediate decision to evacuate (or not),. partial or total.

_ 4. Restrict access to the plant site as deemed prudent.

Instruct Security to make announcements regarding the situation, evacuation steps and actions to be taken.

_ 6. Assemble the Emergency Staff.

_ 7. Assure accountability of all personnel on-site as needed.

SEARCH COORDINATOR

_ 1. Assemble and direct the SEARCH GROUP in response to the bomb threat and report to the Emergency Director.

_2.

Coordinate search activities with the Emergency Director and Security / Services Manager SECURITY / SERVICES MANAGER

_ 1. Communicate with Emergency Director and Search Coordinator regarding information received about the bomb threat.

_ 2. Assist Search Coordinator during bomb search.

Immediately notify the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SCLED) and the Richland County Sheriff's Office.
