Units 1,2 and 3 Comments an the NRC Proposed Rulemaking on Financial Assurance Requirements for Decommissioning, and Draft Regulatory Guide 1060 Arizona Public Service Company (APS), for itself and on behalf of the Participants in the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS), would like to take this opportunity to note our endorsement of the Nuclear Energy Institute's (NEI) comments on the Subject Rulemcking, and Draft Regulatory Guide 1060.
As noted in NEl's comments, the industry commends the NRC for proposing to allow licensees some additional flexibility in how they provide reason ble assurance of decommissioning funding.
