j Source Production & Equipment Company, Inc. submits herewith the enclosed seven copies of an amendment application for NRC Certificate of Compliance Number 9056 accompanied ' by Check No.-4383 in the amount of $150.00 for payment of the Category 10E fee.
In accordance with your recent telephone conversation' with Dr.
Roy
- Parker, two copies of the amendment application contain actual photographs.
The remaining five copies contain copy machine r' productions of l
the photographs.
If additional actual pictographs are required they will be promptly furnished.
The amendment application responds to the information.

1988 letter.
It identifies and i
summarizes all prior variations in the SPEC 2-T package, it describes the SPEC 2-T which will become the current production model after issuance of amended Certificate of Compliance.
The amendment authorization for 240 Ci l
Iridium-192 to conform to maximum source activity as authorized in the device approval for the SPEC 2-T radiography exposure device.
It is established in the application that all previously fabricated and proposed current production SPEC 2-T packages meet the 1973 IAEA criteria for a Type B(U) package, and it is requested that the all previously constructed SPEC 2-T-packages be designated Type B(U) packages pursuant to 10 CFR 71.13(c).
Based on the evidence presented in the amendment applications removal is requested of the restrictions in Items 8
and 9
of Certificate of Compliance No.
9056 Revision 4 requiring a protective overpack fer the trannport of the SPEC 2-T package.
