This is a Closed meeting. It is a general information exchange having no direct, substantive connection to a specific NRC regulatory decision or action.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting between U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC),
Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), and Industry is to discuss the "View Only" option in detail for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). During the discussion, NEI and industry representatives will identify any use cases that require them to handle CUI beyond the view only mode, any progress and/or challenges they have encountered to conduct the gap analysis for National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800-171, Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Nonfederal Systems and Organizations, and any industry plans to handle CUI they may receive electronically from other federal agencies.
