REVIEW OF THE REVISED OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION PLAN FOR THE OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY TRIGA REACTOR The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff have reviewed the Oregon State University TRIGA Reactor Operator Requalification Plan (hereinafter plan) submitted by letters dated August 24, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession Nos. ML21236A343, ML21236A344, ML21236A345, and ML21236A346, respectively), for the changes proposed to the current plan.
After its review, the NRC staff has concluded that the proposed changes are in accordance with the applicable regulations contained in Section 55.59, Requalification, in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, and consistent with the guidance contained in industry standard American National Standards Institute/American Nuclear Society-15.4-2016, Selection and Training of Personnel for Research Reactors.
