Rick, The use of the GP-01 is ongoing under the current CAC that expires in August 2023. The need is to keep the CAC valid without a gap, so this would determine the need is a revised CoC with renewal for a five year duration by before the current CAC expires.

Hello Rick, An application for revalidation of the GP-01 package design is provided in the attached document.

There was a prior request for GP-01 that resulted in issuing USA/0833/AF-96 Revision 0. A revised Safety Analysis Report for this request is provided by a secure file transfer application. This SAR file is provided separate from the attached document due to large files size and available on the Orano PostFiles file transfer application for download by NRC Project Manager using the link provided below. Pierre Saverot is taking over for Bernie to assign the NRC Project Manage for the DOT requests review of foreign package designs, and he is included in the distribution for this email.
