Dear Mr. Johnson:
On May 27, 1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T. F. Westerman of a deficiency involvirig the failure of project procedures to adequately address the l installation and inspection criteria for cable runs used as device pigtail extensions. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under j the provision of 10CFR50.55(e).
CPSES Engineering is currently conducting an analysis of this issue to evaluate the impact of the ?ack of traceability of pigtail extensions by cable number. <
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate submitting our next report by July 21,1986.
