HOLTEC applied to the NRC to transfer the operating permit for Palisades NP from ENTERGY with the expressed and sole purpose of decommissioning Palisades NP.

This is no game of "hot potato". Palisades NP is the oldest and most challenged nuclear power facility in the U.S. Palisades NP must remain decommissioned, and the NRC must hold both ENTERGY and HOLTEC financially responsible for the decommissioning of Palisades NP.

Anything less than the closure and remediation of Palisades NP will be a threat to the public safety and well being of the people of Michigan and the citizens of the Great Lakes.
