The following Security Advisory (SA) is not publicly available because it is designated Official Use Only - Security-Related Information, which is exempt from public disclosure in accordance with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information (SUNSI) handling requirements.
SA 2022-08, Recent Unmanned Aerial System Activity Over An NRC-Licensed Facility.
The NRC has issued SA 2022-08 on October 20, 2022, to all affected operating power reactors including those under construction; non-power reactors; decommissioning power reactors, including those that are permanently defueled but have not transitioned to decommissioning; fuel fabrication, enrichment, and conversion/deconversion facilities; independent spent fuel storage installations; licensees possessing special nuclear material under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 70; licensees regulated under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 37; and all radiation control program directors and State liaison officers. Note that the SA contains security-related information and is, therefore, being withheld from public disclosure in accordance with NRC SUNSI handling requirements.
