In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p), Georgia Power Company submits herein a report of changes made to the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant - Units 1 and 2 Physical Security and Contingency Plan. Enclosure 1 discusses the actual security plan revisions. Enclosure 2 provides a mark-up of the affected security plan pages for your information and use, pending issuance of the next amendment to the security plan.
Changes B, C, D, and E which are discussed in Enclosure 1 are provided in response to an NRC Region !! letter dated September 20, 1988. The subject NPC letter identified concerns NRC Region II staff security personnel had regarding Amendment 10 to the Plant Vogtle security plan. It is our belief that the aforementioned changes will adequately resolve the concerns of NRC Region II.
The infomation contained in the enclosures is safeguards information and, in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 and 10 CFR 2.790, should not be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
In addition to the signed original, three copies of this submittal are provided for your use. Two copies of this submittal are being provided to the NRC Region !! office.
Revised security plan pages incorporating the changes will be provided in an upcoming amendment. Should there be any questions in this regard, please contact this office at any time.
