SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES The unit operated during the month ofJune 1999 with a Net Design Electrical Capacity Factor of 41.4%. The refuel outage was completed on June 16,1999. The duration of the scheduled / extended refuel outage was 1588.3 hours3.472222e-5 days <br />8.333333e-4 hours <br />4.960317e-6 weeks <br />1.1415e-6 months <br /> (66.2 days). As part of scheduled startup activities, the unit was removed from service for 4.8 hours9.259259e-5 days <br />0.00222 hours <br />1.322751e-5 weeks <br />3.044e-6 months <br /> for turbine overspeed trip testing.
During power ascension and after the unit reached 100%, reactor power was reduced several times to support maintenance and testing of the turbine control Mechanical Pressure Regulator (MPR) and Electronic Pressure Regulator (EPR). There were no challenges to Electromatic Relief Valves or Safety Valves during the month.
