CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION FOR AMENDMENT REQUEST DATED JANUARY 13, 1987 By letter dated January 13, 1987, HL&P requested an amendment to License No. SNM-1972 to increase the maximum enrichment and the total quantity of U-235. An Environmental Assessment and a Finding of No Significant Impact were issued September 23, 1986, for storage of the unirradiated fuel assemblies, this increase in maximum enrichment and total amount of U-235 does not change the findings in anyway. There will be no adverse effect on the public health and safety or the environment. ~ Therefore,In~a~c'c'ordancewith10CFR 51.22(c)(11), neither an Environmenta1- Assessment or an Environmental Impact Statementiswarrantedforthisproposedaction2 FOR THE.
