This refers to the. routine safeguards inspection conducted by Messrs.
W. T. Olsen and G. C. Smith of this office on February 13-16, 1989, at Wading
River,- New York of' activities authorized by NRC License No. DPR-26 and to the
discussions of-our findings held by Mr. Smith with you and other members of -
your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC. Region I l
Ins.pection' Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative .;
records, interviews with personnel and observations by the inspectors.
