SUMMARY
OF AUGUST 20, 2020, CLOSED PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING WITH FRAMATOME AND THE NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ON CHANGES TO THE ARCADIA TOPICAL REPORT, ANP-10297, SUPPLEMENT 1 On August 20, 2020, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a closed teleconference meeting via Skype with representatives from Framatome Inc. (Framatome). The purpose of the meeting was for Framatome and the NRC staff to discuss changes to Topical Report ANP-10297, Supplement 1, "ARCADIA Reactor Analysis System for PWRs Methodology Description & Benchmarking Results." The meeting was noticed on August 4, 2020, and is available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML20217L504.
During the meeting, there were discussions with Framatome and the NRC staff on the discrepancy in Supplement 1, solution to resolve discrepancies, path forward, and next steps for future interactions.
