This refers to the telephone conversation between you and Mr. W. P. Reichhold on April 13, 1987 about the distribution of a device containing a radioactive source. You have been distributing a sealed carbon-14 source (activity is less than 100 microcuries) in a device called Beta Attenuation Mass Monitor (Models BAM 101 and 102). It is our understanding that you will not distribute these devices until you obtain an NRC license.
