REQUEST FOR WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT - SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR

' GENERATING STATION, UNIT NOS. 2 AND 3 (TAC NOS. M95865 AND M95866)

Dear Mr. Ray:

By letter dated May 29,1996, you submitted an application for amendments of Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-10 and NPF-15 for the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Unit Nos. 2 and 3. The proposed change would have modified the technical specifications to revise the acceptance criteria for the Agastat time delays used in the engineered safety features load sequences. By letter dated December 22,1998, you withdrew the amendment request.

The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendments to Facility Operating Licenses with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
