- This refers to the inspection conducted on February 14 through March 27, at the Brunswick
reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the results of this inspection.
Based on the results of this inspection, the NRC has determined that four violations of NRC l
requirements occurred. These violations are being treated as Non-Cited Violations (NCVs), !
- consistent with Appendix C of the Enforcement Policy. These NCVs are described in the i
subject inspection report. If you contest the violations or severity level of these NCVs, you
should provide a response within 30 days of the date of this inspection report, with the basis for ;
your denial, to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ATTN: Document Control Desk, !
Washington, D.C. 20555-0001, with copies to the Regional Administrator, Region ll, and the
Director, Office of Enforcement, United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission,' Washington,
D.C. 20555-0001. !
During the inspection period, the NRC received a supplemental response dated March 30,1999 )
to Notice of Violation 50-325(324)/97-09-08, concerning a failure to implement a smoke /
- detector procedure. We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the
requirements of 10 CFR 2.201. / ,
