was conducted by Mr. C. Amato of this office on August 30-31 and September 1, ;
1988 at the Haddam Neck Plant, Haddam Neck, Connecticut. Discussion of our l
findings was held by Mr. Amato with your staff at the conclusion of the '
inspection.

Arear. examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I report I
which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection 1
consisted of selective exemination of procedures and representative records,
inspection of entegency response facilities, interviews with personnel and
observations of the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified.
