Volume SQ-CLO87 Recalculation of the required response spectrum (RRS) curves used in Ref. 1 qualification package with ( ) percent damping value is completed. Results indicate that these curves are enveloped by the test response spectra curves (TRS) provided in Tab D of the same reference.

" ' . -Furthmore, it is noted that the subject relays have no resonances below 40 hz frequency, therefore, comparison of ZPA values ofrRRS and TRS curves is sufficient for qualification purposes.

Based on the results of these calculations, and comparisons, it is concluded that the test results stated in Ref. 1, Tab D are valid and subject tilne delay relays are seismically qualified.

Supporting calculations are being forwarded to the CQD file by t copy of this memorandum.
