Dear Mr. Gordon:
Inis is in response to your letter dated February 18, 1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), records written since January 1,1984, rating nuclear domestic commercial power l plants, utilities, events or problems.
Following receipt of your request, staff of this office arranged a conference call between you and certain technical staff to discuss the scope of your request in light of the number of records publicly available on these subjects, such as the Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP) reports. During your telephone conversation with Gary Holahan, Fred Hebdon, Linda Robinson, and Nina Toms, the staff discussed, among other things, SALP reports, events, and summaries of operating reactor events meetings. Mr. Holahan noted that these summaries are also publicly available in the NRC's Public Document Room (POR) and offered to provide you with a list of these summaries. This list, which is a entitled " Summary of 0.R. Events Meetings," is being placed in POR folder F0IA-86-97 under your name.
