Subject: Inspection No. 50-322/86-02 .
A routine safety inspection of emergency preparedness activities was conducted
February'12-14, 1986, at the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station. Discussions of
our findings' were held by Mr. D. J. Vito with you and other members of your
staff at.the conclusion of the inspection.
No violations were identified. Your performance in the onsite portion of the
emergency preparedness exercise on February 13, 1986, demonstrated
implementation of the Emergency Plan and Emergency Plan Implementing
Procedures in a manner which would adequately provide protective measures for
the health' and safety of the public. No reply to this letter is required.
