Gentlemen:
SUBJECT: V. C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION EXAMINATION REPORT N0. 50-395/92-301
This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) initial examinations
led by Edwin Lea during the week of December 7, 1992. These examinations were
administered to employees of your company who had applied- for licenses to
operate your V. C. Summer Nuclear Station. At the conclusion of the examina-
tion, preliminary findings were discussed with those members of-your staff
identified in the Examination Report, Enclosure 1.
A Simulator Fidelity Repnrt is included as Enclosure 2. A copy of the written
examination questions and answer keys, as noted in Enclosure.3, was provided ,
to members of the facility's training staff at the conclusion of the examina-
tions. The facility's training staff had no post-examination comments.

The Generic Fundamental Examination Section (GFES) was not administered to
employees at the V. C. Summer Nuclear Station during the previous two' exam
periods.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
