An NRC inspection was conducted August 18 through September 28,1996, at your Grand
l Gulf Nuclear Station facility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that
inspection.

During the 6-week period covered by this inspection period, your conduct of activities at l
the Grand Gulf facility was generally characterized by safety-conscious operations, sound ,
, engineering and maintenance practices, and careful radiological work controls.
