Subject: Inspection Report No. 50-322/85-26
A routine radiological safety inspection was conducted by Mr. R. Nimitz of this
office on June 12 - 14, 1985 of your Shoreham Nuclear Power Station. The
findings of this inspection were discussed with Mr. Steiger at the conclusion
of the. inspection.
The inspection covered: previous findings, the Radiological Controls Organiza-
tion, training of Radiological Controls Organization Personnel, General Employ-
ee Training, staffing, plant tours, IE Bulletin 80-10 and Start-up Testing.
Also, a telephone conversation was held between members of our respective
staffs regarding two outstanding items (80-02-01; 80-02-02). If your under-
stapding of the planned actions relative to these items, as discussed in this
report, is different from ours, please contact us within ten days of receipt of
this report.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed and no re-
sponse to this letter is required. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy
of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document
Room.
