Dear Mr. Rauch:
The enclosed NRC Form 173, Standard Order for DOE Work (S0EW), is submitted in accordance with Section III.B.2. of the DOE /NRC Memorandum of Understanding of February 24, 1978.
A revised proposal is requested from Argonne National Laboratory to continue contractual assistance for FIN A2157, with estimated costs for hearing support as delineated in the statement of work attached to SOEW 50-83-01 dated 10/01/82.
Please indicate DOE acceptance by signing and returning the enclosed NRC Form 173 to the NRC Office of Resource Management, Division of Accounting and Finance, with a copy to this office.

This project is to provide hearing support as delineated in the statement of work '
attached to the referenced SOEW. Per conversation with W.A. Nixon (NRC Project Manager) and P.F. Gustafson (ANL) on 11/29/83, we request you submit a revised Form 109 within 45 days of this order based on the statement of work attached to the referenced SOEW to the Office Director, NMSS, (ATTN: Program Support) in six copies. We estimate the level fogfor this goject to be approximately 10 staff months.

- 10. Conflict of Interest,:
In order to assist the Commission in its evaluation, the DDE Contracting Officer shall describe any significarit contractual and organizational relationships of the DOE, its contractor, their employees, or expected subcontractors or consultants on this proposal, with industries regulated by the NRC (e.g. utilities, etc.) and suppliers thereof (e.g. architect engineers and reactor manufacturers, etc.) that might give . rise to an apparent or actual conflict of interest.
