Pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, the Energy Reorganiza' tion Act of 1974 (Public Law 93 438), and Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 1. Parts 30, 31, 3133, 34, 35, 36, 40 and 70, and in reliance on statements and representations heretofore made by the licensee, a license is hereby issued authorizing the licensee to receive, acquire, possess, and transfer byproduct, source, and special nuclear material designated below; to use such material for the purpose (s) and at the placets) designated below; to deliver or transfer such material to persons authorized to receive it in accordance with the regulations of the applicable Part(s): and to import such byproduct and source material. This license shall be deemed to contain the conditions specified in Section 183 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and is subject to all applicable rules, regulations and orders of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission now or [

For receipt, pssession, inspection, use and storage, and for the packaging of fuel for delivery to a carrier in accordance with the statements, representations and conditions specified in the licensee's application dated April 12,1978, arx1 the supplements thereto dated April 28, June 22, July 19, and Septaber 6 and 22,1978, subject to the following additional conditions.

- 10. Authorized place of use:
The licensee's Salem Nuclear Generatirs Station, Unit 2, located in Salem l County, New Jersey. -
- 11. As a condition of this license no more than one fuel ass ably may be out of l approved shippirg containers or storage racks at any one time.
- 12. As a further condition of this license all fuel assemblies shall be stored in storage racks which provide minimum center-to-center and edge-to-edge spacings )
of 21" and 12.5" respectively. l
- 13. As a further condition of this license the licensee shall comply with the attached,
" License Condition for Leak Testing Sealed Byproduct Material Sources".
- 14. The licensee is hereby exempted fran the provisions of 10 CFR 70.24 irafar as this section applies to materials held under this license. '
