On September 9-13, 1985, NRC inspected activities authorized by NRC Operating i
License Nos. NPF-4 and NPF-7 for your North Anna facility. At the conclusion of j
the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff l
identified in the enclosed inspection report. i
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and ,
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities
in progress.
The ins)ection revealed no violations of NRC requirements. However, certain 1
activit es having safety significance appeared to deviate from a commitment to ,
the NRC. The deviations and elements to be included in your response are pre- l
sented in the enclosed Notice of Deviation. l
