In accordance with Section 9 of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) hereby files the required Charter for the Ad Hoc Committee for Review of En-forcement Policy. The enclosed Charter for this Committee updates the document previously filed by NRC on July 9, 1985 by extending the Committee's termination date from August 30 to November 15, 1985 to allow time for completion of the final report.

1. Official Designation Advisory Camittee on Enforament Policy.
2. Objectives and Scope of Activities and Dutie_s

. The purpose of the NRC enforcement policy is to prmote and protect the rw ningical health and safety of the public, including a gloyees' health and safety, the emnon defense and security, and the environ-ment. The Camittee will review the current NBC enforcement policy to determine whether it achieved the purposes defined insection I of Appendix C of 10 CFR Part 2 and provide the Camission with reemmen-dations on any changes to the policy it believes advisable.

3. Time Period-The time period is +ted to be 4-6 months.
4. Agency to whcza the Canittee Reports United States Nuclear Pegulatory Camission.
5. Agency Responsible for Providing Nanaamary Support United States Nuclear Regulatory Camissicm.
6. Duties As set forth in Item 2 above.
