SUBJECT:
TRAINING MANAGERS CONFERENCE MEETING
SUMMARY
On April 25 and 26, 2002, Region II hosted a Training Managers Conference entitled, Enhancing Communications and Efficiency. The meeting covered topics aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the operator licensing program, and enhancing the lines of communication. Focusing on these central themes resulted in several tangible improvements to various aspects of the process. The meeting provided an open atmosphere of exchange of ideas between the licensee stakeholders and the NRC representatives from the region and headquarters. Feedback from the meeting indicated that it was very beneficial to all participants.
The handouts from each of the presentations may be accessed in the ADAMS system (ADAMS Accession Number ML021340458).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
