Dear Mr. Denton:
Attached are five copies of Revision 8 to the Oconee Nuclear Station Security Plan. The primary reasons for Revision 8 are the temporary relocation of a portion of the protected area barrier to facilitate construction of the Radwaste Building and to reflect newly constructed station facilities.
Additionally, editorial changes are included in this revision. Revision 8 is submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p) and does not decrease the effectiveness of the Security Plan.
Since this material is applicable to security provisions at Oconee and contains Safeguards Information as specified in 10 CFR 73.21, it is requested that this information be withheld from public disclosure.
