0.Q% V l7 Enclosed is my Jrotest to P.G.&E against their I O II imminent operation of the Diablo Canyon plant as a nuclear power plant. I strongly urge the commission not to license this operation.
In addition to the reasons listed in that letter, I note the recent newspaper reports of the plant's lack of security--feeding fears for the materials for the making of an atom bomb falling into the hands of criminals / terrorists.
Very truly yours, l ' [Y.

With my enclosed payment for service, I strongly protset the impending operation of the Diablo Canyon Plant as a nuclear power plant. In addition to the plant's net-r-nass to an active earthquage fault I give these reasons:
- 1. Low level radiation can cause cancer and long-term genetic effects.
2 Presently operating nuclear plants have been proven unreliable in their delivery.
- 3. Rate paprs are asked to pay the costa of nuclear-generated electricity several times over--inthe building of the plants in rates and taxes and then must pay for the plants' necessary dismantling af ter about 20 years.
- h. It is unethical to saddle 20,000 future generations with the social and environmental problems of perpetually caring for the con;;aminated high level of radioactive wastes.
- 5. Your insistence that your economic health demands use of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power /I ant regardless of the feelings of the public is a threat to our democrstic society.
