STAFF REQUIREMENTS - BRIEFING ON WATTS BAR UNIT 2 LICENSE APPLICATION REVIEW, 9:00 A.M., THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2014, COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM, ONE WHITE FLINT NORTH, ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)
The Commission was briefed by an external panel and the NRC staff on the status of the Watts Bar Unit 2 operating license application review and path forward. The external panel included Joseph P. Grimes, Executive Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA); Michael D. Skaggs, Senior Vice President, Watts Bar Nuclear Operations and Construction, TVA; Kevin T. Walsh, Site Vice President, Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, TVA; Joseph W. Shea, Vice President, Nuclear Licensing, TVA; Gordon P. Arent, Director Licensing, Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, TVA; and Don Safer, Board Member, Tennessee Environmental Council.
There were no requirements identified for staff action.
