Rausch (Susquehanna Nuclear, LLC), "Order Approving Indirect Transfer of Licenses Related to Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2 (CAC Nos. MF8056 and MF8057), dated November 30, 2016. By letter dated June 29, 2016 (Reference 1), Susquehanna Nuclear, LLC (Susquehanna Nuclear) submitted an Application for Approval of Indirect Transfer of Control of the Licenses for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2 in accordance with Section 184 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, 10 CFR § 50.80, and 10 CFR § 72.50. The NRC issued an Order approving the proposed indirect license transfer on November 30,2016 (Reference 2). The Order, in part, required that" ... Susquehanna Nuclear shall inform the Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation in writing of the date of closing of the transfer no later than 2 business days prior to the date of closing of the indirect transfer." The purpose of this letter is to provide the required notification of the closing date of the transaction, which is currently expected to be as early as December 6, 2016.
