Dear Ms. Strangis:

Enclosed is an application (XSNM3763/03), dated February 08, 2018, received by the U.S.Nuclear Regulatory Commission from Ediow International Company, as an Agent for Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization, requesting amendment No. 03 to its existing license, XSNM3763/02.

The license presently authorizes the export of low-enriched uranium to Australia for fuel and medical isotope production at the OPAL reactor. The purpose of the amendment is to change the name of the intermediate consignee in France from CERCA AREVA NP to Framatome.

There are no changes to the terms and conditions of the existing license being requested.

Therefore, our office is processing this as a minor amendment, and if no comments are received from the public within the 30-day comment period and it is determined that applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the license.Sincsfely Peter J. Habiglfiorst, Chief Export Control^and Nonproliferation Branch Office of International Programs
