Enclosed is an application (XSNM3798), dated September 21 , 2018 , received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission , from Edlow International Company as an Agent for NNSA Y-12 National Secu r ity Complex. The application requests the export of low-enriched uran i um to SCK-CEN in Belgium for research and development at the BR-2 Research Reactor. Assurances from EURA TOM that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of respective agreements for cooperation , are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances w i ll be appreciated. Please note that the applicant has requested an expedited review of this export license application in order to ship the material to Belgium by the middle of November 2018 , to support its customer's needs.
