"On 4/8/2008 a dead green sea turtle was found at the CR-3 intake canal.
A necropsy has been
complete, and Environmental Services has concluded the death was
attributed to drowning, and
causally related to Crystal River Energy Complex operations. This will
be reported to the
National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) and is therefore considered
reportable to the NRC in
accordance with 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi)." The licensee notified the Resident Inspector.
