PRM-50-85 DOCKETED USNRC August 27,2007 (2:04pm) OFFICE OF SECRETARY RULEMAKINGS AND ADJUDlCATlONS STAFF August 27, 2007
Dear Secretary:
I write in support of Three Mile Island Alert's Petition that all host school pick up centers be a minimum of five to ten miles beyond the emergency planning zone. I remember well the confusion we encountered while picking up our daughter here in Middletown, PA during the 1979 Three Mile Island accident. The more distance that is put between the nuclear plant and the pick up point, the better. There isn't anything more important to parents than the health and safety of their children, as the school officials in Middletown learned in 1979.
1 urge the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to support this petition. James Hurst 6 Greenfield Drive Ibliddletown, PA 17057 Learn. Laugh. Share. Reallivemoms is right place!
