Dear Sir or Madam:

In Reference 1 Southern California Edison (SCE) submitted a revision to Chapter 15 of the UpdatedFinal Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) for San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS), Units2 and 3 which summarized the evaluations of the design basis accident analyses that areapplicable to the permanently defueled condition. In addition, Reference 1 provided a commitmentto submit by January 31, 2015 a revision of the SONGS Units 2 and 3 UFSAR that incorporatesUFSAR changes made prior to September 1, 2014 to reflect the SONGS Units 2 and 3 permanentlydefueled plant condition.The submittal date for the revised SONGS Units 2 and 3 UFSAR is hereby changed to February 13,2015.There is one revised commitment contained in this letter.Should there be any questions regarding this submittal, please contact Ms. Andrea Sterdis at (949)368-9985.Attachment 1: Revised List of Commitmentscc: M.
