COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 TRANSMITTAL OF THE HUMAN FACTORS CONTROL ROOM DESIGN REVIEW FINAL REPORT REF: (1) NUREG-0797, SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT RELATED TO THE OPERATION OF COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION UNITS 1 AND 2
Dear Mr. Denton:
Reference (1) listed the control room design review (item I.D.1) as i an outstanding issue. Reference (1) further states that in order for the NRC staff to complete its evaluation of the Comanche Peak control room, a detailed control room design review must be submitted 120 days before issuance of an Operating License. Texas Utilities Generating Company hereby submits the " Human Factors Control Room Design Review of Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station" to meet this requirement and to respond to this open issue.
