In accordance with the requirements of Article. 'WA-6000 of the A5ME Code,Section XI, enclosed for your revice is the Owner's Data Report for Inservice Inspection (form NIS-1) for the inservice inspectinn activitics conducted at Plant Hatch Unit 2 during the Fali 1992 maintenance / refueling outage.
t.n addition to the Code required inspections, Georgia Power Comoany (GPC)-
has performed several inspections not specifically required by the ASME-Code Section XI. on selected Class 1, 2, and 3 components. The Cado and auomerited inspection performed at Unit 2 are summarized below and tv. ported in the Owner's Data Report.
o Ultrasonic examinations of austenitic stainless steel piping welds in the primary coolant oressure boundary .per Generic Letter 88-01 and NUREG-0313, Revision 2. The resi.lts are provided in the enclosure under Class I camponents.
o Ultrasonic thickness measurements were periormed on selected components in the extrcction steam and condensate /feedwater sy tem piping ~per GPC's ongoing erosion / corrosion program. A portion of these components were se'ected due to their similarity in design arvi operating- ,
conditions to components. involved with the pipr break incident at Plant Surry and the feedwater erosion / corrosion recently _ reported :091 Susquehanna.
a Ultrasonic examination of seven (7) welds in the reactor watec cleanup (RWCU) piping were performed per commitments to the NRC related to NUREG-0313.
