Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 j-Commitment Revision-Inservice Test Program in-Service Test Prooram And Procedures 3-The purpose of this letter is to clarify the commitments and revise the schedule for those commitments which were previously submitted to the NRC in LER 96-021-01 "Comoonents Not included in The In-Service Test Proaram As A Result Of Prcarammatic Deficiencies." These commitments include the review and revision of the existing IST documents and procedures as well as development and implementation of a procedure to administer and monitor the IST orogram, in the LER we stated that l

these actions would be completed prior to May 31,1997.

The commitment concerning the review and revision of existing IST aocuments and l

procedures has been revised to specify that this includes review and revision of the IST manual and administrative control procedures used to meet overall program objectives.

This expansion ' f the corrective action has resulted in a revised completion date of o

l August 1,1997.

The procedure to administer and monitor the IST program will be completed prior to July 1,1997.

The revised commitments are provided in Attachment 1. The remaining commitments in our letter of December 13,1996 are unchanged.
