| Description | On June 10, 2007, in response to inspector questioning, the licensee found that the alternate shutdown dedicated communications system had not been tested satisfactorily since 2001. In response, the licensee started a review of system operability. At the end of the inspection period, information from the licensee regarding the nature of the individual failures and ability to mitigate communication problems were needed to resolve this issue. Therefore, pending additional inspection this will remain open as Unresolved Item URI 50-250&251/2007-03-04, Availability and Functionality of Unit 3 and Unit 4 Alternate Shutdown Systems |
