Enclosure 3 COMMENTING ON AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT How to comment on the scope of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff's Environmental Impact Statement for a proposed Holtec International's Hi-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility Located in Lea County, New Mexico The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is requesting public comments on the scope of its environmental impact statement for a proposed Holtec (Holtec) International's Consolidated Interim Storage Facility (CISF) for spent nuclear fuel located between Carlsbad, New Mexico and Hobbs, New Mexico. Holtec's application for the CISF is available on the NRC's website at https://www.nrc.gov/waste/spent-fuel-s torage/cis/holtec-international.html
