COMMENTING ON AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT How to comment on the scope of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staffs Environmental Impact Statement for a proposed Holtec Internationals Hi-STORE Consolidated Interim Storage Facility Located in Lea County, New Mexico The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is requesting public comments on the scope of its environmental impact statement for a proposed Holtec (Holtec) Internationals Consolidated Interim Storage Facility (CISF) for spent nuclear fuel located between Carlsbad, New Mexico and Hobbs, New Mexico. Holtecs application for the CISF is available on the NRCs website at https://www.nrc.gov/waste/spent-fuel-storage/cis/holtec-international.html.
