Name of Licensee: Exelon Generation Company, LLC Name of Facility: Byron Station, Units 1 and 2

Docket Nos.: 50-454; 50-455 EA-08-197 Date and Time of Meeting: Tuesday, September 16, 2008 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (CDT)

Location of Meeting: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region III office 2443 Warrenville Road, Suite 210 Lisle, IL 60532 Purpose of Meeting: This is a meeting between the NRC and Exelon to discuss the significance, causes and corrective actions associated with an apparent violation involving the licensee inadvertently entering an elevated risk condition for Unit 2 in April 2008. The apparent violation is discussed in NRC Inspection Report 05000454/2008-003 05000455/2008-003, and the preliminary significance appears to be low to moderate (White) for Unit 2 and very low (Green) for Unit 1.

Category 1: The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.

Participants: Participants will include members of NRC Region III and members from Exelon.
