Date and Time: Tuesday, June 8, 2021 5:00pm to 6:00 pm (CDT)

Location: Webinar (via Microsoft Teams)

Purpose:

The NRC staff will host a webinar to present the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Braidwood Station and Byron Station for 2020, as described in the 2020 annual assessment letter. Following the presentation, the NRC will respond to questions specific to the safety performance of the stations and the NRCs role in ensuring safe plant operations.

Notice of Significant 2 Licensee Meeting Public Participation: This is an information meeting with a question and answer session.

The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting, however the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting. The NRC staff will provide guidance during the webinar on the methods available to ask a question. Alternatively, questions may be submitted in advance to Hironori.Peterson@nrc.gov.

Interested members of the public should use the internet link below to see the visual portion of the presentation. In addition, interested members of the public must call in at 1-888-603-9743, passcode 7300217 in order to hear the audio portion of the presentation because the video portion of the presentation will have no sound.

This is a virtual public meeting where participants will be able to see the presentation on a computer screen and hear the presenters through their telephone. There is also the option to join via phone only by calling in to the number above.
