EXERCSEOBJECTlVESTheexerciseobjectivesdictatethescopeofthescenario.TheobjectivesforthisexerciseweredevelopedbasedupontheDonaldC.CookNuclearPlant(DCCNP)EmergencyPlanAdministrativeManual.Situationswillbepresentedinthescenariotopromptthedesiredplayerresponseforeachobjective.Whereappropriate,specificobjectivesandcriteriaforadequatedemonstrationwillbeincludedintheexercisemessagesforController/Observeruse.VLLI8TV1.DemonstratetheabilityoftheemergencyresponseorganizationtoimplementDCCNPEmergencyPlanProcedures,andtheAEPEmergencyResponseManual.2.Demonstratetheabilitytoestablishemergencymanagementcommandandcontrol,andmaintaincontinuityofthisfunctionforthedurationofthepostulatedevent.3.DemonstratetheabilitytoestablishcommunicationsandinformationflowbetweenDCCNPemergencyresponsefacilitiesandparticipatingoffsiteagencies.4.DemonstratetheabilitytodesignatesubsequentshiftsoftheEmergencyResponseOrganization(ERO).I8IVDemonstratetheabilitytorecognizesymptomsandparametersindicativeofdegradingplantconditionsandtoclassifydegradedconditionsasemergencies.2.Demonstratetheabilitytoinitiatenotificationofoffsiteauthoritiesandplantpersonnel.3.DemonstratecommunicationsandinformationflowtoandfromtheTechnicalSupportCenter.
