Dear Mr. Rubenstein:

In the Matter of the Application of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 In Enclosure 3 of my December 13, 1979, letter to you, we described the interim Auxiliary Building Secondary Containment Enclosure (ABSCE) and the methods used to ensure the integrity of the interim ABSCE. As a result of additional discussions with members of the NRC staff since then, security officers patrolling the refueling floor of the Auxilia.y Building will routinely verify that the roll-up doors are closed when not in use. This verification wil3 provide additional assurance that interim ABSCE integrity will be maintained.

Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUT110RITY A Yyk L. M. Mills, Mar.ager Nuclear Regulecion and Safety 1950 198 Sco/
