QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM APPROVAL FOR RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL PACKAGES NO. 0240, REVISION 12
Dear Mr. Ford:
Enclosed is the Quality Assurance (QA) Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0240, Revision No. 12, in response to your letter dated June 18, 2018, Agencywide Documents Access and Management Systems (ADAMS) Accession No. ML18171A407. The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant has been separated from your Approval and your address has been updated, as requested. The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant is now assigned to docket number 71-0963, which is being sent to you by separate cover. This Approval satisfies the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 71.17(b) and 71.101(f) for a QA Program approved by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
Termination of your materials license does not cause this Approval to be automatically terminated. If you wish to amend this Approval and have determined it reduces commitments, or terminate this Approval, please request it in writing.
This letter also serves as a reminder that if you are using or planning to use an NRC-approved package, you must be registered for use of that package with NRC. Registration for use of NRC-approved packages should be made pursuant to 10 CFR 71.17(c)(3).
