This letter confirms the conversation between Ms. Lee Harmon, of this office, and Ms. Kay Crane, concerning a Category 1 meeting which has been scheduled for April 22, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. A meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the NRC Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your McGuire Nuclear Station.

The Annual Assessment Letter is accessible from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS) (ML080630008) or from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/NRR/OVERSIGHT/ASSESS/LETTERS/mcg_2007q4.pdf The NRC's Policy Statement, "Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings," effective May 28, 2002, applies to this meeting.
